Historic Shiplap Cottage | Longer Stays Welcome!

Walk to grocery stores and drug stores, or stroll through the gorgeous campus of TWU and Quakertown Park. Go back in time and relax on the enchanting front porch; perfect for having a beverage and people watching. The cottage has been remodeled and restored to its former grandeur. Thoughtful touches throughout. Restored hardwoods, shiplap walls, vintage decor, original art. Fall in-love with the delightful kitchen with modern appliances, farm sink, champaign bronze fixtures, shiplap walls and butcher block countertops. Light snacks, coffee, teas, spices, dishes and cooking supplies are provided. Only the finest luxury bedding will do for our guests! Each bedroom has a queen brass bed, new Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow-tops and high quality cotton percale sheets. The living room has a sofa pull-out with a full-sized memory foam mattress. We also offer a motorized blow up mattress if needed. Both bathrooms are updated and full of charm! Other Things to Note: * Pets must be approved in advance. 25 lb limit. Prefer no multiple pets. Ask about our pet policy and pet fee. Notify us if bringing a registered service animal. * If staying over a week, be sure to read NOTE below. * Tell us what brings you to the area so we can tailor your instructions accordingly! Must be 24, or over, to reserve. * The cottage is best suited for 2 couples or a small family. There are two queens, a memory foam full-sized pullout mattress and a single blow up mattress. All bedding is high quality and comfortable! * The cottage is not child-proofed. Inform host if bringing children, and their ages, for safety instructions. * Note surveillance cameras are on front and back porch. * Owner of Shiplap Cottage is a Realtor/Broker. NOTE for longer term stays of over a week: * The cottage comes equipped with everything you should need. Not suited for extra storage of excessive belongings, like packed moving boxes or furniture. We do have a shed on premise for suitcases and containers, but it is recommended you put your extra belongings into a climate controlled storage facility. * IMPORTANT! if you are pulling a trailer or UHaul, please contact host for driveway configuration details in advance of your arrival. * Be sure to read the first 2 pages of the cottage welcome manual upon your arrival.
