Summer/winter guests can enjoy this peaceful three bedroom, two bathroom lake-house nestled in a private bay off Buckhorn Lake. This is the perfect spot for friends and family to enjoy quality time together, inside or out in rain or shine. The property is on the lake, so guests can explore the water and the surrounding lakes by bringing their own boat. Enjoy the place but please treat the neighbours and the environment with respect. Check in time is 3pm and Check out is 11 am. These are strict unless previously arranged. Please abide by these times as the cleaning staff needs to enter and there may be a booking the same day as your check out. If you require a late check out or early check in please advise. Fees will apply. No loud music. No illegal activity including abiding to the municipality’s fire burn bans. The cottage is in a family friendly area. No smoking in the house of any kind otherwise you forfeit your security deposit. Clean up all messes created anywhere. The house is to be left same way as received (dishes washed, books and games put back). Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove/oven and dishwasher. Please bring your own dish rags and drying towels. Take all the food you bring with you including half empty containers. You must get your own wood for the fire pit and abide by any fire bans if in place. Do not take wood out of the surrounding wooded area. Some of this is not safe to burn. Wood can be purchased at Home Hardware or Foodland which are both located down the road. Do not remove bark or snap branches from the trees to burn. If trees are damaged, you will forfeit your security deposit. WIFI provided. Netflix is included. There are 4 kayaks and one paddle boat for your use - at your own risk. Please use appropriate life jackets for water activities and assume full responsibility for your safety in the water. There are 4 adult size life jackets for your use, but it is best to bring your own to ensure sizing is correct. Look after your kids because property is on lake! Conserve energy as you would at home. Septic system, so conserve water and only flush biodegradable items. Also don’t overload the septic with too many guests at once. Do not park on the grass as you may be on the septic bed and/or create a mud pit for the next renters. There is a large gravel parking area where multiple cars can park. Bring your own linens, duvet, blankets and towels. Protective covers are on mattresses and pillows. Extra pillows available on site. If animals get into garbage you are responsible to clean up. There is a large metal container to hold your garbage while you are there. Guests are to bring all garbage home or to the local dump (instructions provided). You will be provided a dump pass for Buckhorn and Bobcaygeon dumps - please check times and dates open. Only clear bags are permitted at the dump (no black bags). There is no garbage pick up in the municipality. If you do not take all your garbage and food you will forfeit your security deposit. No charging of electric cars is allowed.
