The space is fully furnished and features all of the comforts of home including high speed wifi, roku streaming and blue-tooth speakers. Take in all of the beauty of nature from the private patio with a glass of local wine in hand or a cold regional brew. If you enjoy hiking, biking, visiting local shops, wineries and breweries or enjoy time relaxing this space is for you. The Carriage House in the Woods is the perfect get-away for the weekend or for an extended stay near the dunes and Lake Michigan. Only 60 miles from Chicago and 10 minutes from the sandy shore of Lake Michigan. Come relax, unwind and enjoy the sounds and views of wildlife and forest. During your stay, you will have access to the entire guesthouse, private side patio and both front and back yard spaces (shared spaces) if needed. Also you are welcome to take a peaceful stroll through the neighborhood to take in the wooded landscapes and wildlife in the area.
