Unicorn Ranch MARE room

Small Ranch-house (7 acres), 10 minutes outside of downtown Wickenburg in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. You will see the stars at night and hear the coyotes howl. The master suite is sometimes occupied by my co-host Sarina from Switzerland and her two dogs. During the winter half year (November through April) we are very busy and have more guests. The house will not be as lonely and quiet as during the summer. Shared living spaces may be occupied certain times of the day by other guests. You will be living in our second house on a ranch property. We have horses (including mustangs) and alpacas as well as chickens and ducks on the property if you want to relax animal watching. The room has a QUEEN sized bed. The bathroom is listed as "private" because it is used for Airbnb only. We have two rooms and if both are booked at the same time, the bathroom is shared with the other room. Although we try to keep everything squeaky clean, this is a working ranch and there is likely going to be a little dirt accumulating as people move in and out... We have added locks to the guest rooms so you can leave your valuables with peace of mind while strolling through the desert. The room code will be sent to you separately before your arrival time. You'll have access to the kitchen and dining area and the living room that are all arranged in one big open space. You can also use the laundry room with washer and dryer. We have a bathroom just assigned to the two rooms that we make available. You are free to roam around the property but we ask you not go into ANY pens without prior authorization and one of us escorting you. There is always somebody available on the property if you have questions or need something. You choose the amount of interaction you prefer. The co-host is going to College and is not always there during the day or evening. I am in the house next door and will likely not be hanging out because I work full time and also take care of the ranch. Being an engineer by trade, I also admit to being a bit more of an introvert. My husband is always available to tell you all about the history of the area and possibilities around here. Traffic noise will for sure not be an issue although you might hear chickens, cattle, and coyotes. The neighborhood is comprised of large rural properties, we know and trust our neighbors and almost everybody has some horses. Because we border public lands, wild life like javelinas and even the occasional bobcat have been spotted here besides lots of bunnies and regular coyotes. There is no public transportation available nearby. The nearest grocery store and post office are a couple of miles away. We are pretty close to Meadows facilities. We have a permanent co-host in the house from Switzerland. She is living in the master suite and has two lovely and friendly cats. October through April is the busy time in Wickenburg. We often have both rooms booked and the house is not going to be as quiet and lonely as during the summer half. You will likely encounter people in the shared spaces like the kitchen. Note that if both rooms are booked, you will have to share the bathroom with the other guest.
