This cozy one-bedroom cabin is a truly heavenly retreat. Lush greenery, dazzling river rapids, and an abundance of local wildlife surrounds this charmingly rustic getaway where you can star gaze late into the night. Upon arrival, guests will feel a world away in this private 780 square foot cabin. A spacious covered porch overlooks the stunning river view, and easy river access in the warmer months leads you to a calming river bank where you can sit back and watch the local wildlife go by, along with the occasional train across the river. A large master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, and simulated fireplace lighting easily sets a quiet and romantic mood with the flip of a switch. Another queen bed in the loft area (ladder access!) can comfortably accommodate another two guests, making this a perfect retreat for small families or a few couples looking to get away from it all. A propane "wood" stove is set in the corner of the spacious kitchen area, providing convenient warmth and ambiance in the colder months. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a small group retreat including a wok, blender and hand mixer (please note, the oven is not full size but it is a four-burner stove). A four-person dining area is situated by a picture window for an incredible vantage point during your meals. The living space is ideally arranged to enjoy a free Netflix movie or Wii game play-off. Set on the Skykomish River in a private community, our guests enjoy the unique experience of crossing over the majestic Canyon Falls into the area, and are within 30 minutes of popular destinations such as Eagle Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Heybrook Tower and Scenic Hot Springs.
