Newly Remodeled!! Private Farm House nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Country scenes with a touch of modern on the inside. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, Wifi and MORE! This house is the perfect quiet get away for serenity and rest. It is located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the New River, and Stone Mountain State Park. Play golf at Olde Beau, Cedar Brooke, or New River Country Club. Come and sit on the porch or 2 decks to enjoy the peaceful farm life. The porch has 2 rocking chairs for you to sit and sip your coffee as the sun comes up over the mountain. In the evenings your can grill and enjoy the cool breeze. Your stay includes a private drive and farmland views. It is about a 12 minute drive to the town of Sparta. You can use the whole house as well as the large front and back yards. Please be aware the barns and storage buildings are NOT part of the rental property. There are cattle on the property please do not open gates or climb on fences. We will be available most anytime during your stay if you are in need of some assistance. If you need information about kayaking or directions we are just a phone call away. Our neighborhood is a quiet place with mostly families. This house is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or a long stay! We are located just a short drive, 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway where you can visit Brinagers Cabin or Cumberland Knob for some hiking or take a short drive to the Old Mill Pond for a picnic. Also you can schedule a kayaking trip down the New River or walk the streets of our quaint town of Sparta. You can also visit Stone Mountain State Park for more hiking or a slide down a waterfall. If peacefulness is what you are looking for just sit on the porch and listen to the sounds of farm living and the country soothe your soul. You can park your vehicle on the property.
