Cottage Duplex - LOVELY DECK

This cottage duplex has a large front deck overlooking Beaver Bay and Lake Superior. The view also includes our local neighborhood, the ATV Trail and the backyards of our neighbors. There are opportunities for hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, riding your ATV or Snowmobile, exploring the State Parks, touring waterfalls or simply relaxing. For a local treat try eating at the Lemon Wolf or Tracks ‘n Racks in Beaver Bay (sorry--no chain restaurants). We call this cottage duplex Birch. The other side, called Agate, is also a small cottage rented through AirBNB. A common interior fire-wall splits the building into two separate cottages; they share a large front deck that faces the Lake. On entering the cottage you are in the galley kitchen and livin I've included any bathroom amenities that you may need--shampoo, soap and lotion. In the kitchen you can prepare coffee or tea (or any food that you may have brought along). There is a fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and toaster in the kitchen. Exploring the area is always an adventure in any season--we are right on the ATV/Snowmobile Trail. The Gitchi Gammi Bicycle trail is just 2 blocks down the hill and the Superior Hiking Trail is out your door and a short hike uphill on the ATV trail. A great cross country single track groomed trail leads you into the woods in Silver Bay. Tettegouche, Split Rock and Gooseberry State Parks are within 12 miles of Beaver Bay. Guests can wander the gardens and woods behind the cottages. There is a fire pit and picnic table in the backyard, and guests are welcome to use them. There is a trail into the woods that leads to a bench with a great view of Lake Superior. We are more than happy to share information about the area. We will maintain a 6 ft distance when chatting outside with guests. We can always respond via text when you are out and about and have a question. My husband grew up in our house and we moved back to the Northshore when we retired. So, we know a lot about the area. Please note that this cottage has a Full size bed (not a Queen size bed). In the living area there is a love seat (not a full/oversized couch). If you desire these things, you will be happier booking a different AirBNB.
