Mackintosh Homestead Glamping Experience
NH is for glamping! The Cottage is 200 sq ft of charming living space made with local lumber and lots of love. The kitchen has a sink*, electricity and sawdust style composting toilet. Right out the door is a picnic table, propane grill and outdoor shower*. There are sleeping accommodations on the first floor as well as the loft. There is a fire pit just beyond the picnic table. There is designated camp wood available for purchase. Unplug and refill with the sounds of the woods. There is no television service or internet in the Cottage, but there is a TV with a HDMI cord should you want to display content from your laptop. You won't miss the wifi; there's plenty of hiking including the popular Wapack trail less than ten minutes driving away. *There is running water when overnight temperatures are above freezing. Otherwise, the water at the sink comes from an aquatainer on the counter and the outdoor shower is no longer available. If running water is a necessity to you, please choose to visit mid May through early October. Mackintosh Homestead is a five acre organic homestead in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, just 90 minutes from Boston and Brattleboro, VT. We maintain an annual garden space, and cultivate many perennial space with permaculture inspired landscaping. In addition to medicinal herbs, fruit trees, and berry bushes, we raise chickens.
