Remote Charming Cabin Nestled in the Mountains

A Charming Romantic A frame cabin in the mountains. 10 mins to Lake Gregory 30 mins to Lake Arrowhead Great place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Great neighborhood with friendly people. Completely gated yard to help keep kids and pets inside the yard. Sandbox with toys in the fully fenced backyard. Very peaceful area to take nice walks too. Dogs are welcomed but you must use the designated sheets and towels for them and pick up their waste. This is not part of the cleaning service. This house is for those who want to relax and enjoy the mountain areas. It is remote and out of town. This is not the place for parties. We Love this house and this area so much we decided to share it with others who want to come and enjoy nature. This place to me feels like you are in one of those places you only see in movies. We are in the process of updating the cabin. This will not impact your stay. We will update photos as changes are made. We have 1 bedroom and a half bath upstairs. The bathroom will have a steam shower when the addition is finished. We have one bedroom and bathroom downstairs. This bathroom is a 3/4 bath with a shower. We will be updating this bathroom to a full bath with tub in the near future. There isn't a dish washer and guests are responsible to wash their own dishes and put them away. We have a portable playpin for babies if needed. Please let us know you'll need this so we can set it out. We do not have safety plugs in outlets and there are stairs. Dogs are welcomed. A sheet or blanket or cover must be put down if allowed on beds or furniture. These are located in the laundry room next to the hot water heater. No more than 2 dogs are allowed unless approved. There will be an extra cleaning fee of at least $35 if there is excessive fur and debris from dogs. If dogs pee on any pillows, beds, rugs, drapes, etc. damage will be accessed and you'll need to pay to replace these items or to have them cleaned if possible. Maximum amount will depend on damage done. Please DO NOT rewire our TV or Surround sound. The firestick doesn't work with the surround sound at this time and we have had someone rewire our system requiring it to be redone. If this happens, there is a minimum charge of $50 with no more than $200 to put it back to normal. Do Not remove the firestick from the TV. Power outage - There are lights that will come on automatically if you lose power. If this happens we have 2 lanterns on each side of the woodburning stove also. Stove still works you just need to light it but the oven does not since it is electic. The heaters and the hot water heater will also still work if power is lost. We do our best to provide many condiments, tin foil, baggies, storage containers, spices, filtered water, charcoal for bbq and wood for the stove. We don't always have wood because it's hard to find someone to restock it between guests. You have access to property surrounding the house that is 100% fenced. The front of the house is split rail fencing. Small dogs may be able to squeeze thru inbetween the wood. The backyard is fully fenced with a 6ft fence. There is a sandbox in the backyard with some toys. Sheds in the backyard are not accessible to guests. Locked areas or cabinets are not accessible to guests. You will let yourself in. We will be available to answer your questions via phone or email. There may be times we will be around to greet guests but most of the time we will not be around to meet guests. The area of Cedarpines Park is more remote and away from town. You definitely feel like you're in the mountains / forest here. Great place to take walks. Very peaceful! Beautiful 5 minutes to Valley of Enchantment. There is a small store and restaurant there. Beautiful 10 Minute drive to Lake Gregory where there are restaurants, a large store, post office, 7 11, gas stations, hardware store and the lake has fun lake activities, water slides, a toddler play area and a farmer's market and live music every Friday evening. Lake Gregory is open to the public. Lake Arrowhead is a beautiful 30 minute drive and has restaurants, grocery store, and many stores for shopping. The lake in Lake Arrowhead is not open to the public to swim in. You are responsible to clean your dishes. If staying 3 days or longer access to the property is necessary for yard and garden maintenance and watering. They are respectful and will let you know they are there. If it snows while you are here and you would like help shoveling, let us know and we will help find someone to come over to help you. Shovels will be placed outside the front door.
