Unique artsy and cosy residence next to the Mayeur Projects Gallery. Contemporary art decor. Full kitchen with a dishwasher. Located next to the Historic Old Town Plaza and Historic Bridge St. Walking distance to restaurants, saloons, galleries, Gallinas River Walk Trail, Highlands University. 5 miles to Montezuma Hot Springs, Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge, Storrie Lake State Park and 10 miles to Santa Fe National Forest! Only 50 minutes from Santa Fe by I25. The residence is located in a historic building which has been renovated. Billy the Kid was a guest of the place because it was the sheriff's jail at the end of the 19th century. The apartment is decorated with selected contemporary artworks and design furniture. One fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite bathroom, one large lounge with a sofa, wifi. Access to a private patio in the back (can be shared). I will be happy to answer to all of your questions, before et during your stay. Linda, our housekeeper, will welcome you with her legendary kindness and her professionalism ! and answer to your questions and provide all the information you need. The historic Plaza park offers generous shade and benches for a rest in summer. There are several nice places to eat, like Traveler's Cafe with delicious organic sandwiches and home made pastries, the famous Range cafe at the Historic Plaza Hotel, Olivia's tasty breakfast and friendly family owned El Encanto Mexican restaurant. In addition, you'll love the Castaneda Hotel near the train station and its gourmet cuisine. It's easy to park the car next to the building, in this very quiet old west town. No pet is allowed in Billy's Suite. For long term stays over 2 weeks, a $300 damage deposit is required.
