Eva's Ranch Home

Welcome to my family's ranch home. The home hosts expansive indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for a large family stay. Living and dining areas are open spaces. Each of the five bedrooms include large beds, empty closets to unpack and settle into your space as well as desks for a personal workspace. The outdoor area features a large patio, fire pit, BBQ grill, open gazebo, & outdoor bar for socializing - overlooking the 3 acres of ranch stretching to the back of the property. Boots encouraged :) The home has kept its unique 90's country charm with touches of updates such as new walk in showers in both restrooms. While the home is close to the major highway, it is a very peaceful birding area and offers an immeasurable space for a family or group to enjoy all that the Valley has to offer while being able to come home, relax and spread out. We have fast internet service for our guests - 1gig. The password is available on the app, when you check in. No pets allowed. Overnight guests after 10 are $25/night. Legally, we can ONLY allow a maximum of 12 guests in our home. Events/parties of more than 10 people will incur an Event Fee of $250. If your group or invitees are more than 15, please know that the Event Fee will be higher. Curfew time for ALL Events on our property are as follows: Sunday thru Friday: 12 midnight Saturday: 1 AM NOTE: A $250.00 Deposit (Refundable) will be required for ALL events. Please know that if your party is more than 20 people, the Refundable Deposit will be higher. The deposit will be credited back to you, if there are no damages, nothing missing, and property is left clean. The deposit will then be refunded back to you through Airbnb, after our Property Manager inspects our home & property. The main guest booking our home will be fully responsible for all damages to our property during their stay and during the event, party, dinner, or get together. Guests have access to the entire 5bd/2ba house (minus 2-car garage), personal use of the 3-acres, outdoor patio, open gazebo, fire pit, BBQ grill, and bar, plus all the amenities that come with the home. While we will not be available for checkin, the property manager lives right next door if anything is needed. The home is designed for self check-in and will gladly arrange for the property manager to be available if requested. Property is located in a quiet area close to many places to eat, shop or enjoy entertainment in either Donna, Weslaco or other neighboring towns. The Rio Grande Valley is a commuter area and a car is highly suggested for getting around -- especially if youre flying in. We are 20 mins from the McAllen International Airport and 30 mins from the Valley International Airport in Harlingen. Parking around the house fits 10-12 cars. Our main drive way fits 6 cars and extra parking is permitted in front of the house around the U-shaped driveway as well as the backyard on or near the patio cement. We currently have harmless cats living on the property and stay outdoors. The three cats (Peppermint (Grey & white tiger striped), Fluffy (Grey), & Simba (yellow) help keep field pests at bay. You are NOT required to care for them, but they will definitely be around the property during your stay or occasionally sleeping under the porch or trees.
