Blackwater Glamping

Blackwater state forest is steps away from the camper, the river is about a mile away. The 2020 Hideout camper has new linens and pillows, super clean and stylishly decorated. The two full-size bunks are roomy and comfortable. We have 4 kayaks for rent if your wanting to explore the lake or rivers nearby. You are only 45 minutes from Destin, Pensacola, Navarre & Fort Walton beach. Beautiful local parks and rivers are within 5 minutes. Perfect place for hunters hunting blackwater! We are on two acres of private land thats adjacent to Blackwater State Forest. The camper is under a newly constructed pole barn to provide more shade and space to hang out. We are on property next door and will be available if needed. We have plenty of space available for additional parking of trailers, u-hauls, etc. We also offer the option of transporting the camper to nearby campgrounds for your stay if we are able to schedule accordingly. Campgrounds would offer extra bathrooms and the true camping experience! If camping at any of the campgrounds within 25 miles of us like krul lake, karrick lake, black water state park, hurricane lake or bear lake, there’s a $50 transport & setup fee. You will be responsible for booking your site at the campground and providing us with the information. We may require extra nights booked at campground so we can deliver and pick up the camper in the time allotted by campground. For campgrounds further away, we can give you a price depending on location. Please check dates with us before booking your camping spot. When renting the camper to use at a campground, you are responsible for maintaining the black & grey tanks with the portable dumping tank. We also have firewood for sale if you would like it for a campfire. A bundle of wood is $10. That’s around 12 pieces. Kayaks are $25 each for the day. We have life jackets in several sizes for you to use as well. In order to rent kayaks, we need at least a days notice to prepare, a signed waiver and you must have a way to transport them. You have private access to the camper and may enjoy our private land and venture into the forest which is just steps away from the front door. There is a lock box with a key for private entrance. Off the grid a bit, cellular service & WiFi is spotty. There are other homes within walking distance. But for the most part, our land is very quiet and has very limited traffic. You will need your own vehicle. Please notify us of any pets joining you on your visit. Our dog Ruger is a mountain cur, very well behaved, but he does roam the property freely. All animals must be kept inside or on leash. Please do not leave pets unattended in camper. We have a small kennel available for use. All pets must be up to date on shots and flea free. No smoking or vaping inside camper. No cable service but our TV has a roku for streaming, DVD player and a selection of kid friendly dvds.
