Cabin by the pond (The Funk Starts Here)

Cute cozy cabin in a picturesque setting, only 11 miles from “Snowflake” and three hours and 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Hopefully arriving here will be an extension of your journey and you will have several meditative moments to experience the energy of the mountain. Not only will you enjoy the cabin but be my guest to explore all 40 acres to include two ponds,an orchard, historic petroglyphs, and beautiful vistas particularly at sunrise and sunset. PLEASE READ! We are NOT a Five Star Hotel, we don’t pretend or try to be one, Don’t expect five star service or accommodations ! HOWEVER: This is a mountain cabin and it’s Funky; But it’s clean , ozone treated, and “Funky Kool”. What we do offer is a mountain and vistas of approximately 40 acres with as much positive energy as any of the vortexes I’ve ever experienced in Sedona or the like . There are two beautiful ponds with amenities that can be added depending upon the length of your stay, which includes kayaks, paddle boats,and canoes. Easy access to the top of the mountain with views for miles in all directions , sunrise and sunsets that can’t be duplicated with Picasso’s brush. In short you'll likely have an experience not found in any Five Star!! Additionally, although "Fancy" is not my focus, Comfort is paramount! I am always making improvements between bookings and the evidence of such may be stored in the mud room. Cabin plus annex If you in fact have a large group and you need more than accommodations for six people ,we have an annex next to the cabin, anytime you book 8 people or more the annex will be included and covered by the extra person charges. Up to 12 people could be accommodated. ( using the couches), and the annex has an additional half bath. ( commode and shower) Extra person charges will cover the cost of the adjacent suite. Movement around the property is unrestricted. I’m totally available to share any of my experiences with my guests but I am also aware that some people come to this type of retreat for the privacy. We are located 11 miles east of snowflake Inn about 40 miles from Heber, within an hours drive to the petrified forest approximately 35 to 40 minutes to the mountain towns of lakeside and Pinetop which have plenty of unique shops packed with “mountain flavor”. And one hour 30 minutes to Sunrise Ski Area. There will be no problem finding parking, almost everything is accessible by car, we can also arrange for the use of a golf cart. Pool table, board games, slot machine (fun only, no money) Catch and release fishing in the lower pond, ( the larger pond next to the orchard not the pond adjacent to and slightly below the cabin), walking along the huge natural bolder formations and hunting for the most unique rocks I’ve ever seen, ( please take pictures but don’t remove any so others can enjoy them, “it about appreciation not possession”)
