You will have the lower half of the house to yourself with your own entrance . Late check-ins are fine. A muffin and coffee come with your stay. You must register all guests. The dogs will greet you, just drive slow but come on in! Our check-in procedure is you walk in the door and come and go as you please. We live upstairs and are available most of the time. We are located between Cody and Powell. Airbnb doesn't give the right option for this sweet deal. It is much more than a private room but it isn't the whole house. We live upstairs and you live downstairs. You have your own entrance, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. Tons of amenities, too many to list here. The local scenery is beautiful without going anywhere, but we are ideally located for Yellowstone Park, Red Lodge MT, The Big Horns, and The Beartooths. It is a daylight basement with french doors and windows so doesn't feel like a basement. You can't see our house from Eaglenest Trail so don't let that worry you. More privacy for you! Look at the red fire markers when you pull into the drive way and make sure it says 1781. Most likely you will see the dogs too so you know you are at the right place! Just keep driving in slowly, you won't hit them. You will have your own suite with your own entrance. Lots of privacy here. Good bang for the buck, especially in the Cody area. We are located right between Powell and Cody. There is a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in the bedroom. We try to make sure you have everything you need in your space but Sharon is usually available if you need something. The basement and outside patio is available for your use. No kitchen or laundry facilities available but you do have a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in your space. Sharon works out of the home and is available most of the time. Jerry works for the Game and Fish and is especially good at giving fishermen the heads up as to where the fish are biting and information regarding little known hiking trails to really get to see wildlife and this beautiful country. We are happy to help you plan your route through Yellowstone. We are just as close to Cody as Powell even though they have us listed as Powell residents. We leave it up to the guests on how much we interact. Most of our guests pick our place for the privacy and we respect that. We don't care what time you arrive since we have self check-in. Our dogs are very friendly and will be around so if you're not a dog lover, this probably isn't the place for you. We live in a subdivision in the country. Each lot is at least 3 acres so there is plenty of room for everyone. There is a mountain range for viewing in every direction. We are located directly across from Heart Mountain which is a wonderful place for a day hike and a museum regarding the Japanese Relocation Camp. Lots of interesting activities right outside your door. I tried to post links to websites about the area but airbnb deletes them. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Heart Mountain, The Beartooths, The Big Horns, Cody, Cooke City, to get you started on what to do here. You are also close to the Indian battlefield, Little Big Horn. We are ideally located for day trips and use our place as home base! You will need a vehicle to come to our place. There is cab service in Cody. We have a Powell address but are just as close to Cody, WY. Powell is a nice farming community with several churches and a community college. Cody of course is famous for Buffalo Bill Cody and the Museum and the East entrance of Yellowstone Park. Be sure and check out The Irma Hotel, Trail Town, and Heart Mountain Relocation Camp. We have plenty of parking on our three acres. Our dogs usually stay where we are but are outside a lot so you will have contact with them. As you can tell by the reviews, they haven't been a problem but it is something to consider before booking. There is a "white noise" machine on the headboard. Please feel free to use it. You CAN'T watch cable TV but we do get a few local channels off an antenna and netflix and amazon is available on the smart TV. There are sports bars in Powell and Cody for watching sports. We use white noise when we go to bed so don't worry about being quiet. Feel free to watch tv, take in some nightlife in Cody, or whatever, we won't hear you. It is very quiet and dark here at night. No yard lights allowed in our subdivision but we leave outside lights on so you can navigate after dark. You won't hit the dogs. They like to stay right by cars. That is their job to keep you safe. We have had grizzly bears in this subdivision so it's good to have the dogs. Our dogs are Seppala Siberean Huskies. If you are interested in these dogs, watch "Togo" on Disney +.
