Beautiful details abound everywhere. This huge, open two bedroom home is perfect for a couple looking for an escape, or a small family. Bedrooms on separate floors mean the ultimate in privacy (and bathroom space) for everyone. Don’t worry, you’ll both get to share the sounds of the stream, however. UPSTAIRS SUITE Features a Restoration Hardware king-sized bed, a breakfast nook, leather Ralph Lauren TV-watching chairs and a beautiful lounge/office are just the beginning. There’s also your own private bath with a clawfoot tub with a standing shower (and a view of the stream while you soak). Whether you’re visiting alone or with guests, this space is almost an apartment all to itself. SECOND BEDROOM On the main floor you’ll sleep soundly in a queen-sized bed with a mixture of new and vintage furniture. Wake to the trees and the sound of the stream, then pop out for a morning coffee on the wraparound porch just outside your door. BATHROOMS Upstairs, you can bath or shower in a deep clawfoot tub – open the curtain and watch nature while you soak! Downstairs is a beautifully tiled, huge bathroom with a large shower and its own linen closet. Of course all your towels, soaps and shampoos are provided. KITCHEN This brand-new kitchen features a gorgeous vintage sink and kitchen island made from a real workshop table. Dishwasher, gas stove and fridge with ice-maker are all new. You’re fully stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils/gadgets (blenders, ice cream maker, toaster, microwave) to entertain. A coffee station is right next to the fridge. You’ve got room for six at the dining table, and there’s even a couch in the kitchen so you can socialize or relax while cooking. Note: Spices, oils, and cooking ingredients not provided. PORCH A huge wraparound porch offers a second dining area, or just a place to catch up on reading. It features overhead lighting and outdoor outlets so you can use it as your mobile office day or night. LAUNDRY A stacked washer and dryer is right off the kitchen for your use. Detergent provided. SONOS SOUND SYSTEM AND TV TECH A Sonos sound system is in every room of the house – even the upstairs bathroom. Chromecast and Amazon Fire are connected to the TVs, so you can stream all your favorite shows from bed or the living room. And don’t worry, you’ve got 50mpbs internet that can easily handle all your streaming/zooming needs. ALL-SEASON RENTAL Radiant heat throughout the house means you’ll be comfy in your socks in the worst weather. AC units in both bedrooms ensure a nice cool night’s sleep in the summer. Fans throughout keep the fresh air flowing, no matter what the season. PARKING A private driveway and parking area with room for multiple cars is tucked away in the back of the house. We have a house in town and are around most weekends if you have any problems. But we're always reachable by phone/text to handle any questions. Andes and Bovina are some of the most incredible towns in the entire Catskills. We've got a diner, a wine shop, a cidery with outdoor eating, a town pool (in the summer) and even pizza, all in town. Not to mention beautiful hikes just minutes away. We're a short drive to major grocery stores and other amenities. When you book we'll give you a guide to the entire area – dining, hiking, shopping and sightseeing. It's easiest to drive to the area, but you can take the Trailways bus system from New York City or other major towns, and it will drop you off in the town center, about a mile from the house.
