Downtown Suite Retreat

Our two bedroom apartment located in historic downtown Independence sleeps up to 4 guests. Please note the base rate includes reservations for up to two guests. If more than two guests are staying, each additional guest is $25/night. Kitchen is equipped with appliances and ample cookware to make a meal. A Keurig is available to brew your morning coffee. Complimentary welcome snacks. Cold bottled water in the refrigerator. Games and puzzles provided for guests of all ages to enjoy. TV's in bedrooms and living room. Roku is available to use for watching television. Guests with Netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts are able to log on to watch their show of choice. No cable tv. Grocery store is 3 1/2 blocks west on Main Street and north one block. Guests have access to the entire apartment. Please keep noise level down and respect the tenants in the front apartment. Hosts can be reached by phone between 8 am and 10 pm by phone or text message for general questions, or anytime during an emergency. Would consider to meet and greet if guests desire. In downtown Independence, you will find a variety of restaurants, boutiques and entertainment. If you like history, stroll through nearby by neighborhoods with a self guided walking tour featuring historic homes in Independence. Sidewalks provide easy access to nearby downtown attractions. Navigating Independence by vehicle is relatively easy and stress-free. Independence is located at the junction of Highway 75 and 160. Independence is approximately 1.5 hours from the Tulsa International Airport, 2 hours from the Wichita Airport and 3.5 hours from Kansas City Airport. To gain access to the 2nd bedroom, guests will walk through the first bedroom that is next to the kitchen and through the bathroom. There is a dance studio next door to our building. Occasionally guests may hear the music during dance class. Classes are typically a few evenings a week and are over by 10pm. Parking in front of the building may be limited due to dance classes.
