The combined family room and kitchen let you cook your meal while being part of the family fun while you are all watching your favorite team, the Olympics or competing in that fierce old school board game. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large comfy porch where you can also decompress in the hammock. Living outside is possible into the night with the deck and firepit. The kitchen is fully appointed for both the chef or the non cook looking to slam a meal together in the Crock pot. Enjoy family dinners together in the spacious dinning room. Guests enter the house into a large mudroom that contains a washer and a dryer. Guests are encouraged to get muddy but also clean up! We pride ourselves in offering tailored suggestions to make your trip great. It's an easy walk to "down town"- Groceries, Beer, gas, sledding hill,bike trails, pharmacy, banks, post office, restaurants, museums, additional beds are all right there. The house features a bike room with tools, bike stand and various tools to help you keep rolling. If you're all thumbs there are two excellent bike shops available. Freedman Ridge Bike Park is a 1.5 mile bike ride away. It's a great place for kids. After you finish your ride enjoy a dip in the Carrabassett River then a beer around the fire pit
