Please book for spring, summer or fall (Website hidden by Airbnb) My restored 1840's house is located in the center of Jefferson near the village green. During your stay, you will have the second floor all to yourselves. It's a short walk to the Heartbreak Hotel or Mill Pond Inn for food and beverage. Hike Minekill Falls, Vroman's Nose and other places too. We are just 4 miles from Blenheim wedding venue. Your spacious guest quarters are kept sparkling clean. Your bedroom has AC, a king size comfy bed, coffee maker and tea is available as well. There is a small fridge that has 1/2 & 1/2 in it for your coffee. I also have a full house water purification system. Downstairs are my gift shop and art studio. I live in the back part of the house and am happy to help you with anything you need. While you are here feel free to relax on my wraparound. Two chaise lounge chairs are positioned in the back yard so you can enjoy the view or watch the sun go down. On a clear night the stars are spectacular! I often see Starships in the sky. If you have an open heart to their existence, I'd be happy to point them out to you if you wish. They are joyful to connect with. 🌠 Guests can find me somewhere on the premises unless I'm running an errand. Cell phone service can be sketchy up here in the Catskill Mountains. If you need help, I'm sure one of the neighbors would be happy to help you out or feel free to use my land line. Our charming historic town centers around the village green. The little traffic we get can consist of tractors, pickup trucks, bicycles, strollers, lawn mowers and sometimes even horses. Everyone is very friendly and, because we live in a tiny town, we love meeting new people. There are beautiful views everywhere you look. Many visitors have ended up making Jefferson their home. I did 45 years ago. There is something very special here.... Many locals in town choose to walk or ride a bike to nearby restaurants, shops, the village green, the corner store or the cemeteries that date back to the 1700s. Driving your vehicle on back roads will provide many majestic views. ❤ I have been ordained by the Universal Life Church so I am legally permitted to perform wedding ceremonies in New York.
