The main floor living area with its’ Great Room, Kitchen, Master Suite and Laundry is barrier free for those who may want to avoid stairs. The Kitchen Island has seating for six and provides great views of the lake and city beyond. A small covered deck, with a gas grill, is accessible from the Great Room. This little deck is a great place to play a game and enjoy the scenery! Stairs lead from the covered deck down to a larger lower deck which provides access to the back yard and the lake. The second floor has two comfortable bedrooms, both with large walk-in closets. One bedroom has a private bath, the other has an adjacent bathroom with a bathtub. There is also a large open area with a “Coffee Nook”, two couches, a desk and access to the “Terrace” overlooking the back yard and the lake – the perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee! Guests have access to the entire house other than the garage and the basement mechanical room. There is a property manager available. We live on the lake loop bicycle/walking trail so there is easy access to downtown. The neighborhood is quite lucky to have a great coffee house and several great restaurants. By bicycle/walking path Monona and downtown Madison are easily accessible. We are about 1/4 mile from the beltline. We have a pontoon boat that we can make available for charter to our guests, with a "captain" who knows Madison's lakes and all the fun swimming spots and waterfront restaurants. This will assure you have the most enjoyable (and lowest cost) day of boating on the Madison Lakes.
