HC’s Cottage- c. 1896 Renovated Cottage

Located 10 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Lake Michigan, wineries, breweries and more! Plenty of trails and places to explore. Canoe or float the Platte River, rent a paddle board and explore Crystal Lake, Platte Lake or Lake Michigan. Head North to Glen Arbor or Downtown Traverse City. So much to do you’ll have to make another trip! Guests can relax on the wrap around porch, enjoy a fire outside, grill out or just come back to rest after a day of exploring! Guests are allowed access to all spaces except the roof and utility room which houses the hot water heater, pump and other home supplies. I am available by text and cell. Vehicles are the primary form of transportation. Bring you bike and helmet and enjoy the Betsie Trail or ride down iconic M-22. We are on well water and the kitchen sink cold water is on an under sink filtration system. Feel free to utilize it or the Brita pitcher for water. There is a door in the upstairs bedroom that leads to the roof. Please do not walk on the roof for any reason. Door can be opened in case of fire or other emergencies. Trash day is Monday morning. Please place bagged trash in the blue trash bin located near the house. Recycling is available at 11510 Main Street, Honor. Just past the Michigan State Police Station and across from Jomo’s Ice Cream. Treat yo self after dropping recycling. :)
