Secluded Cabin, 5 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway

Located in secluded Wilkes County, NC escape to your idyllic off grid cabin, situated on our private 400+ acre family owned property. This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, or if you just need a little R+R. You are truly secluded here, cell phone service is very spotty once you start trekking further up the mountain. But we do have wi-fi in the cabin. You also have access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Our little cabin is cozy, perfect for couples and families alike. It can comfortably sleep up to 4 people, the master suite is outfitted with a double bed. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the couch is plush enough to sleep an extra person. We want this to be your home away from home, so we do provide all essentials you may need during your stay with us. Bring your own firewood or DuraFlame logs to cozy up by the fireplace at night. You have full access to everything in the cabin. We keep the kitchen stocked with essentials such as pots and pans, olive oil, basic spices, as well as a few snacks and drinks for your enjoyment. There is also a coffee maker and tea kettle. The bathroom is fully stocked as well, don’t worry about forgetting anything because we’ve got you covered! This includes disposable toothbrushes, mini tubes of toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover wipes. We do not live on the property, but can be reached at any time by text/phone/email. We are located only a short 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 15 minutes from Cascade Falls, there are some great hiking trails and amazing views there. If you want to venture into the city we are only 35 minutes away from both Boone and West Jefferson. They both have great Arts Districts downtown. If you’re joining us for the weekend and want some amazing local produce, a family favorite of ours is the Watauga County Farmers Market, it’s open from 8 am-12 pm on Saturday’s.
