Whether you are looking to escape the city hustle and bustle, visiting Lake Forest College, the Naval Station or moving cross country, our bright and spacious suite is the perfect spot to check in and relax for a few nights. Featuring a separate entrance, private full bathroom with a jetted tub and plenty of fluffy towels, a small kitchenette stocked with coffee and tea and ice cold drinks. 43 4K Smart HDTV with Netflix and Prime and super fast WiFi available for streaming. Bright and spacious second floor studio apartment on a quiet residential street. The house is a few blocks from downtown Highland Park and from Highwood's world class restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Ideal location for exploring the area! Ravinia Festival and the Chicago Botanic Garden are a 10 minute drive. Parking is available on the north side of the ostreet--please ask the owner about off street parking. During the winter, please park on the driveway on the right hand side. I will leave you plenty of space! Pets ok with additional pet fee. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the unit or sleep on the bed. Please do not let your dog in the back yard and curb your dog. No parties. No smoking in the unit, the porch or the patio. Please smoke at least 15 ft from the house due to my son’s health condition. This is non negotiable and will be a reason for immediate cancellation and removal from premises. No unregistered guests, please. Welcome to use the backyard/patio and fire pit. Owners do not assume any responsibility. The suite is very private and we are socially distancing. However, we available and nearby. You will have my cell if you need anything to assure a comfortable and relaxing stay. World class restaurants in Highwood and downtown Highland Park are 5 minutes away. Grocery stores, Target, more restaurants located a 7-10 min drive away. Ravinia Festival is back July 2021!! There are many beautiful beaches are easy to bike to and there's great live music at the 28 Mile distillery. Highwood always has awesome events! (Website hidden by Airbnb) For all that's going on though, we live in a very quiet neighborhood. Metra's Union Pacific North Line has a Highwood stop just blocks from our house. Highland Park Metra stop is about half a mile away. It's a fun and easy way to get to or from Chicago, about 50 minutes by train or an hour by car. Please note that the door locks automatically if you leave. Just use the code provided to enter. The porch light activates the motion sensor and lights on the side of the house. Please make sure you turn it on if you leave and expect to come back after dark. And please turn it off before checkout.
