Britt Cottage - Quiet & Cozy

The Britt Cottage is a comfortable, humble mountain cottage nestled in the Line Runner Ridge community. When you stay, you bring the joy and our Britt Cottage amplifies it! You will find the cottage to be your destination to rest, recharge and to re-connect with friends and family. If you are looking for granite, you will find that, but not Disney style glamour and luxury! This is a quaint, functional mountain retreat while you explore the amazing "Land of Waterfalls" and mountains. The Britt Cottage is an older but lovable home. If you have a need in your life for the odd light switch that does nothing, come on in! (everything functions, but what are those mystery switches for?) Book soon as designers the world over are hearing about our two color wood floors and are clamoring to visit (we saved $328.73!). Our quaint Britt Cottage (named after Richard and Betty, the couple that owned it for over 34 years - whom I served with on the association board) was built on a dream rather than a plan .... so you will leave with fond memories of our famous layout and our beautiful sunroom to boot. If sitting outside is your tranquility, this is a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy the out-doors or to go for walks down the gravel roads and to our lake and it's dam wall. More than that, the area is an amazing place to be in nature and is surrounded by five state parks. Enjoy our Britt Cottage! Lockbox The Britt Cottage is in a phenomenal mountain community surrounded by neighboring cottages yet it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. We have a lake within walking distance and our county has some of the most amazing state parks anywhere in the country. Regular cars will easily reach the Britt Cottage. Do not bring rv's, trailers or trucks. Our gravel driveway is one of the steepest around... but you will make it! We have no garbage service in the mountains so you ARE the garbage man. You are required to take your garbage home with you. AC/Heat, Fully stocked to take care of you, just bring clothes and food.... We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap at each sink, dish-washing detergent, laundry detergent and dish soap. We provide coffee filters, linens, bedding, towels and all you need to cook with in the kitchen. Bring your own personal toiletries such as shampoo etc.
