There are plenty of special nooks to cuddle up and enjoy the mature tree views on this acre property. The house-made fresh breakfast included with every stay is a great way to start your day off right. The Red Door Retreat is our dream home that we are excited to share with folks out on their own adventures. This 3,000+ square foot home is located within 12 minutes to downtown Huntsville, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville airport and the town of Madison. It’s the perfect launching point for your travels through the region. We offer extensive knowledge on regional destinations, hidden “where the locals go” gems and of course being avid foodies, we are ready with dining recommendations. Guests enjoy the shared living room, sunroom, gardens, pool(seasonal), gazebo, and art studio tours. Our famous European style breakfast is included with your stay. Almost all of the art you see throughout our home is created by your hosts! Three friendly rescue pups and a cuddly kitten named Gris are part of the official welcoming committee. Your private bedroom with en suite bathroom is a cozy retreat to escape the headaches of travel. Guests enjoy access to their private, upstairs bedroom and en suite bathroom. Guests have access to shared front porch, pool area and pool, laundry room, gardens on the 1 acre property, living room, and attached sunroom. We are more than excited to welcome you into our home but are equally content to give you space and privacy to unwind. We’d love to show you the gardens, the art studio space and provide you with answers to questions about local and regional travel and destinations. Quiet, friendly and safe well established community. It’s a place where everyone on the block heads out each evening for a walk around the block, and we all know each other’s names. Great location for ride share, taxi or car. Biking on roads and some trails in the area is also encouraged.
