Newly remodeled Craftsman-style bungalow features 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room with sliding patio doors that open on to a wooden deck, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, office nook perfect for working remotely, full bath, and large screened in porch for quiet summer evenings. Located in historic Richland Center, Wisconsin, birthplace of Frank Lloyd Wright in the Pine River Valley. Richland Center is located in the rugged limestone hills of the "Driftless" region, a place that was left untouched by the last glaciers. Our area is an outdoors lover's dream, with rolling hills, clear cold streams, and peace and quiet. Lots of opportunities for outdoor activities year round. The bungalow includes: *Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, full size fridge, electric range with oven, cookware, and dishware *Two bedrooms with full size beds *Full bath with tub *Wood deck off the dining room *Screened front porch Staying with us supports our nonprofit, Renewed Hope / Esperanza Renovada, which assists those living with or recovering from cancer to find renewed hope to move forward in their lives. Full information on the project is available during your stay. You will have the entire house to yourself, but we are just minutes away if you need anything. We're just ten minutes away if there is anything you need during your stay. The bungalow is located near downtown, and restaurants, shops, movie theater, and bowling alley are all nearby. Two blocks to the bike/walking path that runs along the Pine River - be sure to check out the historic footbridge! Plenty of places for a nice evening stroll in town. Richland County is in the heart of the Driftless Region, a small area that was not touched by the last glaciers that covered the upper midwest. Our rugged hills and streams are a paradise for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Richland Center is the birth place of Frank Lloyd Wright and features the A.D. German Warehouse, a Wright design that is currently being restored. We are half an hour from Wright's Taliesin, American Players Theater, House on the Rock, and the Wisconsin River, and an hour from Wisconsin Dells, Madison, and the Mississippi River. We are located halfway between Madison and La Crosse, Wisconsin. Transportation is by your own vehicle only. We welcome bikers, kayakers, hunters, and fishers! Our area is a haven for nature lovers. World class trout streams, biking on our rural roads and bike trails, numerous hiking trails, hunting, and kayaking are all nearby. We work with a local kayak/canoe outfitter to help arrange kayaking if you'd like - send us a message for more information. Shuttle service to the beginning and from the end of your kayak trail is available. A list of things to do in our area is sent to you before your stay.
