Welcome to The Gypsy Gull! This is a great home for your next vacation getaway. A cozy farmhouse style home in the heart of quaint Harkers Island, NC. Just a short walk to The Harkers Island Fishing Center and the local’s favorite restaurant, The Fish Hook Grill. Completely fenced in yard with plenty of room for kids to play and pups to roam. Rainy days are no problem, enjoy playing Ping Pong and Foos Ball, or just relaxing on the screened porch of the spacious garage/game room. Harker's s Island is an Inner Island located in the Core Sound, NC and protected by the outer banks of NC. Atlantic Beach (30 min. from the house) is the nearest beach to access by vehicle. The Cape Lookout National Seashore ferry is just 1.5 miles from the house where you can access miles of uninhabited beach as well as tour the Cape Lookout lighthouse and play in the clear waters in the bays of the Outer Banks. There is a small sandy beach (3.5 miles from the house) as you come onto the Island where you can access the bay waters around Harkers Island. For boater and fisherman, the Gyspsy Gull is easy walking distance to the Harker's Fishing Center Marina, providing boat launch, overnight docking, and charters. Hop on the Island Express (1.5 mile from the cottage) for a quick boat ride over to the Cape Lookout National seashore, where you can explore the lighthouse, mingle with the wild ponies, and relax in the crystal clear waters of the NC Outer Banks. The local grocery is a very short drive or even walking distance form the home.
