Happy Cabin

Happy Cabin was remodeled with lots of love and care. Our rustic, cozy cabin was built in 1932. It is situated in the back of the lot with only one home separating it from the National Forest. It is near Heart Rock hike and Lake Gregory, among other sights. Inside it is charming and quaint, perfect for a couple's getaway from the city. If you are looking for a cozy cabin in a remarkable forest setting, this is for you. You will enjoy the details in the craftsmanship of our interior. The walls are covered in knotty pine and the windows are trimmed with hand hewn timbers. The recently updated kitchen features a brand new full size refrigerator and microwave as well as a Kitchen Aid natural gas convection oven. The en suite bathroom features a claw foot tub for a relaxing soak as well as a separate shower. Our favorite amenity of the cabin is our wood burning stove. Firewood will be provided for your stay. When a fire is lit in the stove, the space instantly becomes warm and cozy. Outside we have a deck with a bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine looking out on the national forest. There is a grill available to you, a seating area and table to enjoy a meal outside. During warmer months there will be hammocks in the trees. ** NEW ADDITION! We just finished renovating our "Zen Den" which is the shed directly across from our cabin. We are so excited to share this project with our guests. In the Zen Den there are yoga mats available for guests who would like to exercise and meditate and a writer's desk for the guests who would like to get some work done in a quiet relaxing space. We just ran electricity to the Zen Den with outlets and lighting. In addition we have string lights, battery operated candles and fairy lights so you can create the perfect lighting to create a peaceful ambience. There is also an extension cord just outside the Zen Den that can be plugged into the front of the garage. There is a heater that can be plugged into the extension cord for warmth during fall and winter months. ***The cabin is rustic and we do have wildlife surrounding our cabin. You may see a spider or two inside and hear coyotes in the distance. Bears have also been spotted on our property so keep an eye out and have your camera ready. *** Guest have access to the whole house and zen den. Guests do not have access to the storage space under house or to the garage. We are available to answer any questions or concerns via Airbnb messages and also by phone. This cabin is right next to San Bernardino National Forest in a neighborhood that is away from the main highway. It is a beautiful mountain neighborhood where you can enjoy the nearby forest and the cozy rustic feel of this quaint and lovingly detailed cabin. There's plenty of outdoor areas to relax in and enjoy the beautiful mountain air.
