Perfect for children or guests wanting a special hideaway. COMMUNITY: Nestled high in the West Virginia Alleghenies, Alpine Lake resort is a unique, gated community set on 2,000 heavily wooded acres with an award-winning, 18-hole golf course, hiking and biking trails, and a pristine 150-acre lake fed by springs and mountain streams for fishing, swimming, and boating. Indoor swimming and fitness facilities are open to cabin guests. Private lakefront beach is great for swimming (April-September) w/ BBQ pit and picnic tables, Dog park, Tennis courts, hiking & cross-country skiing trails (maps provided in our welcome book), indoor heated pool, fitness center, restaurant & bar, mini & 18-hole golf (addt’l fee), as well as kayak and fishing on the lake. All have re-opened with COVID hours and safety measures in place. KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/full-size stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, dishware, cooking basics, coffee maker, toaster, & kettle. Island with 3 seats. Select spices in the home as well. INDOOR LIVING: Vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling gas fireplace, Flat screen TV (No Cable service but streaming available with WIFI), Beautiful Sun Room for reading or reflection with lake views, Blu-ray player & Bluetooth sound system, work station, Dining room table seats 8, puzzle table, board games, oak dining table. OUTDOOR LIVING: Private deck, wood firepit with grill on the deck, private lot next door with wooded areas, beautiful view of the golf course and lake. Beautiful landscaping and level yard for ball throwing or outdoor fun. WiFi: Free high-speed internet OTHER: high-efficiency central heating & cooling system, ceiling fans, hair dryers, self check-in, Basement 2-bedroom/1 bath apartment has separate entrance and may be booked simultaneously by another guest, or you can add it to this reservation for additional space. PARKING: Driveway (4 vehicles) FIREPLACE: Turned on with a remote control. Open seasonally October - March PETS: We love furry friends but aren't welcoming pets at this time. BASEMENT: Separate Apartment available April 2021 features additional 2 bedrooms/1 bath and can be added to this rental for more bedrooms, or may be booked by other guests. Has separate entrance so completely private. May be occupied by home owner seasonally. Guests have full access of 1st/2nd levels of home except the locked garage and 1 room which will be locked. There is a basement apartment that is also a rental but it has it's separate entrance. Only parking area will be shared. If booked, we can let you know if there will be guests in the basement at the same time so you're aware. Guests can also access resort amenities with keycard - provided for you to utilize during your stay. Walking trails and biking trails are also available around the property. An indoor pool and fitness center are also located in the Resort lodge about a mile drive/walk away. The lake is open for fishing, swimming, kayaking/canoeing during seasonal hours. The outdoor children's playground, dog park, tennis, and mini-golf is also nearby and available for guest use. 18-hole golf course is an additional charge. Manager is available via phone or text during your stay to answer any questions or offer suggestions, or to help with any concerns. There is self-check-in on site. This cabin is located at Alpine Lake resort which has a lodge offering many amenties for additional fee including a swimming pool, fitness center, lake with kayaks and full service restaurant, mini-golf course, 18-hole golf course, and full bar services. No public transportation is available. A car is recommended. There are several trails for walking, hiking, and biking nearby. Basement apt: There is a 2 bedroom/1 bath basement apartment that is occupied by the home owner (on occasion), that is also a rental with it's separate entrance. Only parking area will be shared with owner who is friendly and will respect your privacy. If you have additional guests and owner is not there, we can add the basement to your reservation for additional fee and unlock the door connecting the two. we will inform you so you're aware. Internet: Wi-fi is available for guest use in the cabin. During inclement weather, please note that internet may be in and out as we are in the mountains. The nearby Lodge has complimentary WiFi and work area/lounge that guests can use as well. TV: Located only in every bedroom, the livingroom, kitchen, and master bathroom. Remotes provided. No Cable service on television. DVD Player with select DVD’s are on site. AC/Heat - Thermostat on the wall in main living area. Bedrooms also have heat boards with thermostat in each room. Please turn these off/lower upon check-out or when departing for the day to conserve electricity/gas. Fireplace - A beautiful gas fireplace is located in the Livingroom. We ask you be kind to it and turn it off when not in use to conserve propane gas. Please, no children around the fireplace and we ask that you treat it as your own so that we can allow guests to continue to use it. Remove provided. Turned OFF April-September. Housekeeping - Routine housekeeping services are included in the booking fee, however, please be considerate and place furniture and other items in the places they were at the beginning of your stay. Additional fees will be charged if extensive cleanup, damage repair/replacement, and relocation of furniture are required. Provided with your stay: - Access to the entire 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom cabin except locked closet in Master Bedroom, 1 Locked door, basement (which is another 2-bedroom apartment that will be available to book with starting November 2020), and garage. - All linens, sheets, bedding, towels, washcloths - The cabin Deck offers a beautiful view of the golf course and lake. - A gas grill is available on the deck. Please use provided grill utensils. -BBQ pit at the beach pavilion to use on a first come basis. - Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, bowls, plates, glass/silverware, ie. - Kitchen has a full stainless-steel fridge only, a 4-top gas stove and full oven - Fully stocked kitchen items: Coffee-maker, microwave, i.e. - Select food items in cabinets (feel free to use any condiments or food items/coffee in stock) - We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom for short term stays. For stays longer than 4 nights, please contact the manager to request a mid-stay cleaning (extra charge) which includes linens and towel change, toilet paper refill, and clean. - Access to Alpine Lake amenities: Fitness Center and Indoor Swimming Pool Cabin Rules: Communicate your arrival and departure times, and any changes. We want to be sure we have everything ready for you! Please don’t arrive early without prior notice. - Pets - not welcomed at this time. Do Not smoke/vape anywhere inside the cabin, or on the premises. Smoking outside is okay. Children are welcome. Arriving at the home with more guests than you booked, including babies and small children, violates airbnb rules and our policy. If you arrive with more guests than you booked for, the reservation must be changed to reflect the proper number of guests before you will be allowed to check-in. Please book for the correct number of guests. Make sure all appliances/AC/heat, are off upon departure. Return house key back in key lockbox upon departure Return Key-Card for Resort amenties, back to folder, upon departure (or Subject to a $100 replacement fee) Return any pool towels to the cottage and place on bathroom floor if used. To preserve flooring, Please Take off shoes at the entrance. Only indoor shoes/slippers permitted. Quiet hours: 9pm-7am. Please, No loud music as we want to be respectful of neighboring cabins. Please don’t eat or drink anything while sitting on the bedding. We want to provide nice-quality bedding yet still keep our price low. However, accidents happen! If you spill something on the sheets or blankets, please alert us immediately so that we can wash it. Thanks! Household trash goes in the large garbage can on the porch.
