The Overlook, sunset lake view in marina community

The Overlook sits on a hill overlooking beautiful Lake Norris. The house is in a quiet lakeside marina community. You can spend your day boating, hiking nearby trails or shopping in Knoxville and come home, cook in the kitchen or grill on the deck. Sit on the deck watching the sunset over the lake while having a drink or eating your meal. Use the high-speed internet to stream your favorite shows on one of the four available TVs. The house is set up well to host large or multi families. The Overlook features an open concept main floor living space. The kitchen, dinning room and living room adjoin the covered deck and grilling area through double french doors. You can easily slip out onto the deck with drink or meal in hand to enjoy a view of the lake. The main floor also features the master bedroom with attached full bath and laundry room. The office area is also on the lower level so you can get some work done but not be to far from the fun. The desk is setup with a lamp with usb charger. The second floor has two additional bedrooms and the second full bath. The house has: • High Speed Internet • AT&T TV • Roku TV • Four Flat Screen TVs • A full pot coffee maker • A K-cup coffee maker • Fully stocked kitchen • Lake views • Charcoal grill • Towels/Bath Amenities • Marina Access • Near hiking, swimming and kayaking Boats and daily boat slip rentals can be reserved from the marina where you can also find shoreline access for swimming, bait and tackle supplies, as well as a bar and restaurant. The road leading to the house is not boat or trailer friendly. Please drop your boat and trailer at the marina before coming to the house. The house has a very steep driveway and parking is limited to 3 vehicles. My husband and I are local to the Lake Norris community. We are available during normal business hours Monday through Friday for problems, general questions, suggestions, etc. However, since we live in the local community, we can typically respond to emergencies withing 24 hours. The Overlook is about half a mile from Hickory Star Marina and 15 minutes from Maynardville TN. The marina has boat and slip rentals, a seasonal restaurant, small store and boat parking. Maynardville TN is a small town with restaurants, grocery store, pharmacies, walk in medical services and Dollar General. Unfortunately, the road leading to the house and the driveway are not boat and trailer friendly. The house does not have its own boat slip, however you can rent a nightly slip, if available, from Hickory Star Marina. The Marina also has boat and trailer parking. You can find the number for the marina on their website. At house parking is limited to 3 vehicles. The house is in a neighborhood with full time residents. The fireplace is electric. Please be advised that this property utilizes a ladder to access the top bunk beds. By renting this property, you are agreeing to hold the owner and property manager harmless for any injury or death that is resulting from the use of the ladder. The upper bunks have a manufactures weigh limit of 175 pounds.
