N. Modesto 2br., 1 level Condo with Organic Garden
Open, comfortable living inside and out. Ironing board, iron, washer and dryer with supplies- all of the things that make staying away from home feel natural. You can fritz around in the garden. There is almost always something blooming to cut for the table and always something pleasing to look out onto from all rooms. Hummingbirds frequent feeders near the doors that lead into the garden. There is covered parking for 1 in front of condo and guest parking. Toddlers are charged as an extra guest. Infants stay free. This condo is in its own off street cul-de-sac/ private driveway. Very quiet, near Kaiser hospital and close to two others, Modesto Jr Colllege, shopping at Vintage Fair Mall, Trader Joe's, upscale O' Briens Market, too many resturaunts to mention (ask and I'll tell you my favorites) easy access to freeway and downtown. A great place to live. Beautiful tree lined access road, cool in the summer for walks and breathtaking in the fall. I'm pretty open minded if something about your needs doesn't quite fit- call and ask-I'm in charge and can help with special needs, improvisations, recommendations and sometimes twist my own rules for the right reasons- just call. Toddlers are charged as an extra guest. Infants stay free. All condo and enclosed garden- would prefer guests to remain quiet in front common areas - no loitering- and not to disturb permanent nice neighbors, (be aware of times of re-entry these people go to bed early and work and don't want to feel invaded) try not to do a lot of in and out door bangings, etc. I cater primarily to professional people traveling for business, family visiting local family, and people temporarily in the area to support family that has been hospitalized or needs temporary assistance and I can offer advice about navigating and enjoying our bountiful local area. If you have any questions just call- I work weekdays but can return calls following work each day -or text and I'll call back after work. My co-host Toni can also answer questions while I am at work. Please expect that calls/emails after 9pm may be returned the following day. My expectation, unless specific arrangements are made ahead of time is that check in time will be before 8pm and will be clarified prior to arrival. Any changes to guest list must be approved and I must have name and current photo (phone snap fine-optimal actually- want it to be current at time of booking) sent to me for each person staying. This condo is set up with camera security for your comfort and security and has convenient keyless entry, as well. This is your place to hang out- not an entertainment hub for others. This is a normal working people neighborhood with good neighbors that deserve to feel safe and respected. As with all AB&B locations it is our expectation that the condo be left in the condition it was when you arrived, excepting any linens in use the day of departure (we’ll take care of those if you aren’t home and your schedule doesn’t allow for that). Taking a picture of where things are located before you settle in is a great help to assure that all things belonging to the condo are accounted for and in the right place when you leave. Thank you for treating our home nicely. Cleaning fees go toward carpet and furniture cleaning and many other nit picky details that assure that you focus on your stay - not someone else’s. Easy access neighborhood, big leafy tree lined streets, quiet. Bus route nearby, taxi services available, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, central to business but not far from Fwy access. Modesto is a fantastic starting place for almost everything. California and the United States are huge but we have always said of our central California location that you can have just about anything in 2 hrs.: snow, mountains, fantastic cities including our state capital Sacramento and the love of most California born, San Fransisco, (both of which have amazing international airports), lakes, forests, and countless amusements from spelunking in caves, zip lining, mining/geological tours, fantastic placed to cycle, and some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world as well as vast rich farmlands that produce the likes of which I can't think of any other country matching. I feel like living here I've lived a life of wonder and opportunity to grow and explore and work as hard as I want toward getting where I'm going- what an amazing place...if anyone wants ideas about where to go from modesto you'd better brew a pot of coffee and bring out something sweet because we'll be busy for a long while. There are times when rather than staying in a fantastically expensive destination city you can stay somewhere rich with diverse lifestyles like modesto to have a home base that is more central to all if your destinations. Traveling around California is part of the experience. The special places are held together with vastly different landscapes and an amazing diversity of people, fresh fruits, nuts, vegetables grown in their respective climates. I always like to know what is being grown everywhere I go so I can appreciate how lucky I am to be where these things happen. I tell people all of the time if you don't see something amazing everyday you are simply not looking.
