This lake cottage is located close to nature & snowmobile trails, Caberfae Peaks, and 45 minutes to Traverse City. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. Each bedroom includes a queen size bed and 2 rollaway beds. Roll all 4 single beds into the giant living room or spacious covered porch for a super fun slumber party for the kids!! Our lake cottage features 165 ft of shallow sandy bottom shore front. From May to September, there is a dock available for guest use. Lake Mitchell is popular for boating, swimming, kayaking, water skiing, and fishing. Bring your own boat and take the canal to Lake Cadillac where you can boat all the way to downtown Cadillac and walk a short distance to dinner, drinks, shopping, and our beautiful waterfront pavilion with entertainment all summer long. There is a canoe available for guest use from May to September. Bring your own kayaks and launch right from the property. Winter adventurist? Right out the backdoor you can enjoy ice fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross-country skiing. The Cadillac Area also offers the best snowmobiling trails in northern Michigan with over 200 miles of groomed trails accessible right from the cottage. The cottage is 25 minutes from Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort. This cottage is equipped with all the conveniences from home: A/C, a full home water filtration system offering the purest drinking water, a tankless water heater for guaranteed hot water for all guests, and hypoallergenic baseboard heating making the cottage feel clean, warm and cozy. Over 165 ft. of lake frontage on a beautiful point offers 180 degrees of unobstructed views from anywhere on the property and from nearly every room of the cottage. Off street parking is available. Details will be provided at check-in. There is enough room on the property for your boat or snow mobile trailer. Up to two dogs are allowed. No Cats.
