Looking for an outdoors experience on a garden farm? or just want to get away to the countryside? Not a camper but appreciate life's little luxuries like running water, electricity, etc.? Come stay in our RV, used one year while we built a house. Have friends who go RV'ing who want to come along? We have two extra RV port/hookups. Our property is off Scenic Drive set in a pecan grove and loblolly forest. Deepwater Floridan aquifer well, fresh air and green space. Come walk a country lane. Our RV is a 35' Jayco 5th wheel with 3 slideouts. The interior contains a faux fireplace, central heater, pop-up large screen tv in the living and bedroom. All new floors in the living and kitchen area. One toilet, sink, shower, and makeup mirror. The bedroom has a queen bed, lots of closet storage, and is a comfy sleeper. Maximizing space we removed the sofa and replaced it with a lux twin bed for extra sleeping room. Two comfortable sitting chairs, dining table & chairs and gas cooking range, stove & all cooking utensils, coffee pot, dishes tableware included. No dishwasher. Washer and dryer privileges for a fee, leave clothing out in the am service during the day $10 per load, wash, dry, fold. There are an indoor shower and urinal with an additional outhouse behind the RV, (with a bidet), made from reclaimed wood. Antique sink and new American Standard toilet..... no wooden seats here. When the RV is in place, you must use the outdoor toilet behind the RV, except for the urinal. Lots of room in the outhouse! Roam in the loblolly forest, take an ATV ride (if you have one)walk in the orchards or pick up pears and pecans in the fall. This is an active hobby farm. There are two four-acre ponds for fishing and swimming, a veggie garden in summer (organic, non-GMO) flowers planted here and there, horses on the property, and a 4 dog kennel. Kennel fees, $10 per night, per dog. Bring your own feed. No dogs over 12 lbs in the RV. Only two dogs allowed. Must be potty trained. Nonrefundable pet cleaning fee & deposit required of additional $50 per stay due at check in. NON SMOKERS ONLY. Go on walkabouts, look for deer, see wild turkey flocks, hear the Hootie owls at night, be amazed at the woodpeckers, bluebirds, jays, and cardinals inhabiting the 45-year-old loblolly forest. Being here is a real treat. RV is per couple and sleeps up to 3. Perfect to paint "en Plein Aire," or to find solace while writing your latest novella. Fall, winter & spring, sit around a firepit and gaze up at the stars.....we have deep dark night skies. A nearby property has another 40 acres and two stocked deep water fish ponds where you can swim, fish or kayak. If you travel with dogs, there is a kennel on the property. The kennel must be booked 10 days in advance. It has an accessible play area your dog can leave and enter at will. Dogs are not allowed in the RV unless under 12 pounds. There is an additional $50 cash on arrival pet fee per dog. You are responsible for mishaps. Clean up after your dog. If your dog is an aggressive breed it must be on a leash. All dogs must be in your company if they are in the yard and not allowed to roam alone. This is the country folks, just country folks here. Lots of fresh air, agricultural lands, place to walk and listen to sounds of nature. This is not the Ritz Carleton, and it is not a honeymoon resort. There is no public transportation. This is a rural farming community. We are located off Hwy. 84, Scenic Drive 3 miles outside Offerman, GA. We are between Waycross and Jesup, GA, each about 25 miles away with local Walmart and the rest of American fast food restaurants. Our farm properties are about to become a bicentennial farm, having been in the family since the 1820 GA Land Lottery. Our place is down a sandy country lane set in a pecan grove and loblolly forest. It's pretty and it's our home-away-from-home. The air is fresh, the views are fine and it's a really great get-a-way. We lived in the RV for a year while we built the property up, in preparation for building an RV Park on Hwy 84 and the rebuilding of my GrandFather's home.
