Located IN the village of Wilson is our private remodeled home on a quiet, dead-end dr. and back yard bordered by the woods. If you are looking for a private, quiet getaway, this location is ideal. We are NOT on the water but a short walk or drive away. There is space for parking an small RV, boat and trailer, a large yard with fire pit (wood not provided in the winter), picnic table & Adirondack chairs. Outdoor grill and chest freezer for the summer time only. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Continuous dedicated Internet/WIFI service in home. We have also installed a camera outside pointed at driveway to deter local kids from being mischievous. Inside, enjoy a bright, renovated semi-open concept living space, complete with up-to-date fixtures and appliances. Relax in the cozy living room and watch TV or play games. There is a gas fireplace and SmartTV. An up-to-date kitchen provides you with everything you need to prepare meals and the adjoining dining nook to gather and eat! There are convenient USB ports in several of the outlets for easy charging of your electronics, and a Bluetooth speaker. Or relax and read a book in the sitting room - which also has a queen sleeper sofa! The bathroom has heated floors and contains a walk-in, stand-up shower, and single sink vanity with lighting. A convenient stackable, full-size washer and dryer is next to the sitting room. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the second has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The shade trees keep the home cool in the summer and there is also a window A/C unit in the back bedroom and a portable stand alone unit is in the living room. Self Check in Keypad We don’t usually have face to face checkin unless you request it and based on availability. Lori is also about 5 minutes away if you need emergency help - if she’s not on vacation herself. There's a small local grocery store in town with lots of options, even fresh sliced deli meats and cheeses. We also have Matty's Pizzeria, and small boutique coffee shop Wilsons Brew just a few feet from T&R's gas station. The subs at T&R's have always been a easy quick local favorite. If your looking for more fancy food we have Woodcock Bothers brewery and Savage Wines, Live Edge Brewery, the Boathouse and Sunset Grill open in the summer time, but please call or check the website to see what their hours are. As always ... every restaurant has their good days and bad. If you experience bad food or bad customer service please let that establishment know. I cannot control where you eat - so please don’t leave a bad review on my home based on their performance. Thanks!! :) We are within walking distance to village shops, restaurants, Wilson Harbor and Lake Ontario, and a short 5-minute drive to NY Tuscarora State Beach Park. We have a few historic cobblestone houses that are privately owned, but always fascinating to look at, I've included a map in the house for the excursion. We also have a few more historic places around town and walking around is always enjoyable even after living here for 30+ years. Even the town cemetery is beautiful to walk in, we have stones going back to the 1750's! Within a 25 mile radius, there are so many things to do and see. We are located along the Niagara Wine Trail, as well as Lake Ontario Scenic Route 18! After day trips to Niagara Falls, Old Fort Niagara and historic towns such as Lewiston, Youngstown, and Olcott, or a day on the lake, you can relax in the evenings by your own private fire pit and enjoy the beautiful starry sky along the Lake Ontario shoreline. If any intentional or unintentional damage is caused by renter damage is billed at replacement cost. If the cottage is left extremely dirty there will be a $100 extra cleaning fee.
