Laurel Highlands GAP TRAIL "Rock Stop"

The "Rock Stop" in Rockwood, ,PA is a 1968 single-wide mobile home that has been newly renovated to provide guests a cozy and comfortable stay in the Laurel Highlands. It's conveniently located in the town center - just half a mile walk/bike from the GAP bike trail and 15 minutes to Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Ski Resorts. There are two bedrooms - one in the front of the trailer and one at the back, with a main living area/dining area, full kitchen, and covered outdoor space. Interior Features: Two bedrooms - one in front and one in back. Front bedroom along main street has a queen size bedroom and full closet. Back bedroom has a double bed and full closet. The bathroom is original 1968 retro design, but we keep it very clean for you! Kitchen has basic cooking necessities and a full fridge. There is central heat and central air conditioning throughout. IF TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN please let us know and we can have a pack n play available. Exterior Features: The covered carport has been converted to an inviting outdoor dining area. There is also a bike rack for our cyclist guests. You can walk to the Dollar General to pick up any essentials and the bike trail is a 10 minute walk. There are two parking spots conveniently located out front. PLEASE NOTE: This home is on a lot that backs to the train tracks. The train passes regularly throughout the day and night. It is loud. Main street is a main road which has traffic noise. If you are a light sleeper - this may not be the best set-up for you. Also - the mobile home is metal underneath the wood siding, so you may hear some natural creaks and pops as with any house. There is a keypad lock on the front door. You are looking out on Eagle Mountain from our Air BNB and may spot a bald eagle. Enjoy the trains pass in this truly american small town. Bike to Myersdale or Ohiopyle in an easy day-ride or ride the trail from DC to Pittsburgh. Just a short drive to Seven Springs, HIdden Valley, and Laurel Ridge State Park. Bike right off the GAP trail to this AIR BNB! Easy winter driving to Seven Springs and Hidden Valley. We are located on a flat street with 2 off-street parking spots. Please note this home is located right next to the train tracks and the train passes regularly both during the day and at night.
