Locust Hill Inn, “Almost Heaven” room

This is a very private room in our Inn. It is the only room located on the 3rd floor and consists of a king size bed, a sofa, a very large walk-in shower. There are two vanities: one located inside the bathroom and the other located just outside the bathroom. The Locust Hill Restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Inn and is open Thursday thru Sunday during the spring, summer & fall and is closed Sundays during the winter months. A small pub on the premises sells beer and wine. A full breakfast is included with your stay! We are only 1/2 mile from the Greenbrier River Trail and we offer a shuttle service to various places along the trail (prices vary). Snowshoe Ski Resort is only 20 miles away and The Falls of Hills Creek, Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank Observatory and many other attractions are just a short drive from the Inn! We live on the property. If you need us, we are available; but, we like to give our guests their privacy. Locust Hill is situated on 20 acres at the edge of the town of Marlinton. There is a pond on the property for your use for fishing or kayaking. A badminton net and horseshoes are also available. In nice weather, you may dine outside on the front porch ot the covered back patio. We are close enough that you can walk or ride your bicycle to town. There is a great hiking trail (Greenbrier River Trail) within minutes of our property. Check in is any time after 4:00.
