Loads of outdoor recreation, including Pinecrest Lake and Marina & Stanislaus hiking and fishing. Cell service can be limited during busy periods. We rent the entire house to one group a time. Not a shared situation, this is a private home. Gorgeous NEW deck overlooks meadow and river. Available via text, email or cell. The town of Strawberry has a population of 86, so be prepared to take a step back into a quieter pace of life. Major grocery stores and other services are 20-30 minutes away. Pinecrest Lake holds outdoor movies and ranger programs during summer months, has a Marina, post office, coffee shop and library. Easy access to SF Bay Area. Strawberry has limited services (a few quaint restaurants and shops) but is only a few minutes from Pinecrest Lake. You can hike, bike or drive to the lake. Twain Harte or Sonora offer more services (within 20 miles). Enjoy the quieter peace of slow paced living!
