Lakefront living w/ Bunkhouse + dock & kayaks

Create lasting memories at our lakefront getaway on High Rock Lake. Our home sleeps 8 guests in the main house and 6-9 more guests in the outdoor bunkhouse . Enjoy the game room with ping pong, darts & board games. Tie up your boat on our dock and spend hours fishing, playing in the water & kayaking. Play a game of kickball in the huge yard, then nap in the hammock. Relax on the large covered deck, cook dinner on the gas grill then roast s’mores over the fire pit! Everything you need is here! Our casual and comfortable home sits right on the lake and offers beautiful views of the water and sunset. Perfect for gatherings with friends and family, you will find cozy accommodations and a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to sit back, reset and enjoy lake life at its best. Quiet cove just off the main channel so no bridges to hold you back here! Bring your boat and tie up to our private dock or enjoy the use of our 2 kayaks (please bring life jackets as they are not provided). Bring along some firewood to relax by the fire pit after a long day. 4 comfy bedrooms in the Main House: Br #1 - Large Master overlooking the lake has a King bed and tons of windows that make it light and airy. Grab a cup of coffee and step out through the private entrance onto the open deck. If you need to get some work done you'll find a perfect work space with relaxing lake views. When you're ready to settle in for the night you can login to your favorite movie subscription channel on the smart tv (sorry, no cable). Br #2 - Peaceful and cozy bedroom with King bed. Br #3 - Cozy and serene bedroom with comfy Queen. Br #4 - Adjacent to the Master, with an attached bathroom, this large room has two twin beds. You must walk through this room to get to the master which is perfect for the kiddos. We've hosted Guys' trips and Girls' trips and the adults have always been comfortable. Bunk House - Outdoor shed turned into an adorable bunkhouse, located just outside of the main house. It has three twin over double bunk beds (made with a fitted bottom sheet, pillow and light blanket) and can sleep 6-9. There is A/C and a TV/DVD combo unit great for taking a break and relaxing! The kids absolutely LOVE this space - it’s their own little rustic hideaway! Please note - the bunkhouse is an outdoor shed with no bathroom facilities, it is not insulated or heated and is not suitable for rental in the winter months. Living areas: The family room is open and airy and has gorgeous views of the sunset. This is a casual, relaxed room where you can put your feet up. Enjoy the smart TV with any of your movie channel subscriptions or bring a DVD along for movie night (sorry, no cable). The dining area has morning sunlight streaming in and is the perfect spot to prop up on the bench against the comfy pillows and relax with a cup of coffee and a book. The oversized homemade farmhouse table allows for tons of seating for everyone to gather around and enjoy meals together. The kitchen is stocked full of appliances (Keurig, 12 cup coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, crockpot, blender, electric griddle) and most anything else you could possibly need. There is an extra fridge on the deck perfect for cool drinks in the afternoon. The laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen with a full size washer and dryer, which is super helpful for lake living! All bedroom linens and bath towels are provided which are laundered between guests, including the duvets. You'll find the showers stocked with shampoo & conditioner and plenty of toilet paper for your use. Have a blast in our huge yard with tons of room for fun and games and plenty of parking space for big groups. Over 100 feet of water frontage for your enjoyment and relaxation! This is our home away from home and we spend all of our free time here. We typically entertain several families for our weekends away and we all fit comfortably and have made such amazing memories here. You'll find many extras in the kitchen (condiments, spices and such) and throughout the space since we are here often so please enjoy! We hope you'll love our home as much as we do!!! We live nearby in Charlotte, but are only a phone call away for anything you may need - fun places to visit, restaurant recommendations, concerns, etc. Our hospitality partners are just down the street and check on our home frequently. Relax in our quiet cove then drive your boat (or rent one at Tamarac Marina) out to the main channel for more fun in the sun! Make sure to dock at Tamarac and grab one of the best burgers on the lake! When you're ready for a break from the water make sure to visit our quaint little town of Lexington - full of adorable shops, delightful stops for eats and drinks, and most importantly the historic Candy Shoppe! Before heading home take a trip on our local wine trail and bring home a few souvenir bottles to enjoy on the deck! There is so much to do in Lexington and the surrounding areas - you'll need more than a weekend!
