Harlow Bishop House, Best Location, hot tub, deck
Downtown, walk to Waterfront, 5 Mins to Beach, Hot Tub, on town brook
Historic Home built in 1766 and preserved under the housing act. Directly on the town brook walking path, next to one of the oldest homes in N America, the gristmill, burial hill, walking tours, the John Carver Hotel with Indoor pool/water park (you must check with hotel for availability to purchase passes- not included with your stay). Short walk to the WATERFRONT, shops, duck pond, restaurants & attractions. Fresh linens, clean home, comfortable beds, back yard, HOT TUB, string light, great layout. This historic location is steps away from the Pilgrims first settlement and surround by several attractions, places to walk, a skate park for kits, pond to feed ducks, etc... NO EVENTS, PARTIES, ADDITIONAL GUEST-MUST RESPECT HISTORIC HOME BUILT IN 1766 & HAVE A GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY. Since this is A HISTORICAL HOME, built on post, beams & timbers over 250 years old, AND ALTHOUGH it can house a lot of guests I ABSOLUTELY don't want large groups dancing, bouncing, or hosting events on the main floors, NO PARTIES, etc putting stress on the older timbers.. If you are part of larger group/event staying at the John Carver, this house can not be a host house for all your guests and cannot host large events. Having a GOOD NEIGHBOR policy is critical for communities everywhere, and managing the relationship with neighbors, plus the other challenges of hosting events, trash, wear and tear on a home is something we prefer to avoid. Surveillance cameras monitor exterior for compliance of the no events, no loud noise policy. You must follow check out procedures which include bringing trash to the 2 bins provided but limited. Additional trash will either need to be removed, or charged $5 bag, stripping beds and starting a load of laundry and dishes. Parking for 2 to 4 cars (depending on the size and how far you pull in). Must have a GOOD NEIGHBOR policy, no loud noise, no additional guest other than on the reservation. You are literally staying in the exact location of the first settlement of Plymouth and steps away from where the Pilgrims settled and built their forts, burial grounds, and met Squanto to form their relationships with the Indians on this very brook and hill. Rates my change based on seasonality, holidays, peak seasons may require min night stays.
