This river front home is the perfect getaway to relax! With 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, and a screened in porch overlooking the Mississippi River - this home is great for families, couples and/or a friends trip! This home is a on a quiet, private gravel road outside of the quaint, small town of Bellevue, IA, which has so much to offer! Enjoy watching the river go by and the spectacular sunrises from the many amazing views this home has to offer! The dining room, living room, master bedroom and screened in porch all face East with absolutely stunning views of the Mississippi River. This isn't to sell short the amazing sunsets that can be viewed from the kitchen and other 2 bedrooms. The living room does has a fireplace - but it is out of commission. We have provided LED candles for a little extra ambiance for the space! The entire house & property is available for guest access. Our house is located on a shared private road just south of Bellevue. It is important to note the private road is gravel, a tad bumpy, and can be a little snowy during the wintertime - but it's only a short distance off of the highway. In the summer time it is perfect for bald eagle sightings and fishing. In the winter it is a cozy retreat with spectacular snowy views of the river. For the skiers and snowboarders - it is 45 minutes from Sundown Mountain Resort and 60 minutes from Chestnut Mountain Resort. This home is a split level with the bedrooms located on the upper level. It is important to be aware that there are stairs that will need to be used on a regular basis while staying here. We do have a charcoal grill for use. We have grilling utensils, but we do not stock the charcoal and lighter fluid. Pets are welcome, but only if they are potty trained and well behaved. It is also expected that dog poo is to be cleaned up from the yard and thrown away. If any accidents happen inside that they be cleaned up immediately.
