This is a very rare 1/2 acre property with 130' of waterfront offering uninterrupted views. The guest suite has about 1200 square feet under cover including the 300 sq. foot balcony. Charming second storey suite with wonderful river panorama. Full kitchen and laundry in lower area.The water from the Weeki Wachee magnitude one spring is lovely and clean and stays at 72 to 74 year round. While most of the manatees are in the river from December to April guests spotted at least one almost every day in the summer. The water is shallow and sandy immediately in front of the house so it is safe for kids. You can wade in directly from the dock and play on a large sandbar. The suite is a tropically decorated delight. One bedroom has a queen bed the other a double. A double blowup bed is available. Eating areas on the balcony or inside. On rainy days lounge inside and take advantage of a large DVD collection and 200+ channels. Nearby are excellent hiking trails if you want to take a break from the water. Three kayaks, plus one double and one stand on paddle board and 2 bikes are available to guests. Towels provided. All bedding is brand new. There is also a fenced yard to enjoy and plenty of parking with a gate for security. Fishing charters and boat rentals nearby. Also lots of restaurants from fish fry chow down to finer dining. The BBQ and fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes and a range of condiments, kitchen has everything you need to cook in your Manatee Cove vacation home. From May to November 15 guests have full use of the patio, a lower screen room and the half acre property. We are in residence after Nov. 15th but your privacy is assured and you will have full access to your own private the dock and stretch of river. (We have a property manager nearby who knows the house well and will help if anything goes awry.
