Nestled into the heart of one of the most beautiful streets in the Central West End, this unique and dramatic space (20 ft ceilings!) is within steps of numerous cafes, shops, art galleries, parks & bars. A truly walkable neighborhood. This is the 1st & 2nd floor of a small, historic 3-unit apartment building and has been completely renovated. The space: This boutique apartment was recently renovated, yet still preserves many historic architectural details. The apartment occupies the 1st and 2nd floors of the building, and has private front and rear entrances. The dramatic open living room features 20ft ceilings and a 16'x6' window, flooding the space with natural light. Climb the wrought iron spiral staircase to the master bedroom loft (there's also an additional rear staircase with access to the 2nd floor). Enjoy the large front patio and watch the neighborhood stroll by. If you'd like more privacy, we have a 2nd brick patio in the rear of the building with a six person table. Please note: the location is on a quiet area of the street so guests can walk to the action, without having to be in all the bustle of the popular area. While perfect for a family stay, it cannot support more than the listed number of guests. We have TV's in both the living room and master bedroom. Beds: We have a king size bed in the master bedroom/loft (which is open to the living room below), a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom (open to the back stairwell leading to the ground floor bedroom), and a king bed in the 3rd bedroom (closed to the living room, but open to the stairwell up to the second floor bedroom). The 2nd floor bathroom has an enclosed bathtub and shower unit, and the ground floor full bath has a shower. Guest access: You will have sole access to the apartment itself, and it's private entrance, and access to the shared front, brick patio, and the fenced backyard. Other things to note: The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, while on different floors, are connected by an open staircase. There is complete visual privacy, but some noise can travel between these two rooms. No parties are allowed. This apartment is one of 3 units in the building and the neighborhood is quiet at night. The owner of the building lives on-site and we strictly enforce our no party rule and noise policy. __________________________ In light of current events, we understand that many may have hesitations about booking a vacation rental. We understand this hesitancy and want to assure you that our homes are professionally cleaned between every guest. We make sure that extra steps are taken when preparing our home for you. All linens are washed in hot bleach water, all surfaces are disinfected, and we provide disinfectant wipes and cleaning supplies for guests who wish to do a bit of extra tidying. We hope this will help quell some of your travel concerns!
