Historic Home in West Urbana

New April 2021: this home has a completely new heating and cooling system with an ionizing filtration system similar to what is used in hospitals (and proven to kill COVID). Extremely comfortable and quiet heating and cooling with humidity control! This is a beautiful old home right in the heart of Urbana, just blocks from Carle Hospital and, a few blocks from campus, and a few blocks from downtown Urbana. This historic home was renovated just three years ago and features excellent woodwork and lots of space. Please inquire first to discuss your stay, so we can make sure the space, price, parking, and terms are fitting. This is a 2-story home, with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths on the 2nd floor. There is another half bath on the 1st floor (connected to the first floor bedroom), and one more full bathroom in the basement. In the first floor there is a large living room and dining area, and the kitchen. The home has newly refinished hardwood floors throughout. The 2nd floor full bathroom has a heated marble floor. The home has central heating and air conditioning and is well-insulated, making for a very comfortable space. We just recently installed a new Samsung stove and refrigerator in the kitchen. The basement of the home contains a lot of long-term storage and guest use of the basement is limited to the laundry room and abutting bathroom. We will make preparations so that we do no need to access said storage during your stay. The detached garage is used for storage and not available for guest use. The property does have security cameras on the exterior only.
