The Beach Cottage- A Simple Sanctuary

So you just need to get away? Welcome to The Beach Cottage- A Simple Sanctuary. A refuge. A place to rest, relax, rejuvenate, exhale, deconstruct, re-think, re-evaluate, recalibrate, and breathe fresh air. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to a day fresh with the promise of new experiences. Walk on the beach, hike one of the myriad and beautiful trails, or stay in the yard and contemplate the newness of spaces yet discovered, books unread, mediations yet embraced. Write, paint, meditate, sleep in the peace and quiet of the private yard. Enjoy the starlit sky as you sit around the fire pit at night. Less than 40 paces walk you to the beach. And in a less than 5-minute walk you are in the small, quaint “downtown” of Stinson Beach, with it’s local shops, snack bar, restaurant(s), and grocery store. The Cottage is a separate dwelling, sitting on its own private lot consisting of a charming bedroom with an exquisitely comfortable queen size top-of-the-line Kluft bed, with luxurious linens. TV (in an armoire at the foot of the bed), radio, Wi-fi, sitting area, armoire, and closets, NO DVD. The living area -- sofa, chair, dining area, kitchen area with coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, microwave oven, 2 burner stove top, very small ("dorm room size") refrigerator/freezer, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and some condiments. The bathroom is newly built, with Italian glass tile floor, shower over tub, all-new fixtures, hairdryer, and quality bath linens and towels. Everything is new, fresh, and clean. We supply beautiful E.O.bath products. There is a Bbq grill in the yard. The front yard is great for sitting in the sun, or by the bonfire at night. There are two folding chairs and beach towels to take out onto the beach, and comfortable chaises to sit on in the yard. You will have all the privacy in the world, but if you should need us for any reason, we are right next door on the adjacent property. Sorry- but we do not allow children or pets. Please do not ask about exceptions. 12-day maximum stay. ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL in the summer: ONE CAR ONLY. You will have your own reserved parking space. NO SUNDAY CHECK-INS Check-in: 3:00 Self-check-in. Just arrive and come on in. (We will gladly give you an earlier check-in time if circumstances allow) Check-out: 11:00 (We will extend your check-out time if we are able) 1 or 2 guests only You are welcome to have day guests, but NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. NO PETS-please do not ask about making an exception NO CHILDREN- NO EXCEPTION NO PARTIES. NO NOISE AFTER 10:00 P.M.
