Lancaster House in Fells Point
Lancaster House-Restored Circa 1795 Townhouse in Fell's Point
Lancaster House is in the heart of Baltimore's vibrant Fell's Point historic district. While retaining the charm of a 200-plus-year-old home, this three-story townhouse has been completely updated with modern amenities. Materials include oak, slate, and ceramic flooring, Baldwin brass hardware, stainless-steel counters, Williamsburg paints, and custom cabinetry. Includes eat-in kitchen with cathedral ceiling and skylight, loft overlooking kitchen, private enclosed courtyard with dining area and gas grill, ceramic-tiled bath with glass block shower, spiral staircase, and lots of charm. The National Register Historic District of Fell's Point is an exciting maritime community with many diligently-restored, 18th- and 19th-century buildings. The cobblestone streets are alive with restaurants, taverns, theaters, art galleries, antique and vintage clothing shops, and other unique establishments. Plus, it is just a short walk or water taxi ride to the many attractions of Baltimore's famous Inner Harbor, and Little Italy's numerous restaurants. Fell's Point is the ideal location for exploring the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the Maryland Science Center, Harborplace, ESPN Zone, Federal Hill, Fort McHenry, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Ravens Stadium, etc. Also, Washington, DC is just one hour away and New York City is three hours north. NOTE: Several previous guests have mentioned in their reviews that we gave them complimentary water taxi passes. We regret that we are no longer able to provide this amenity. The water taxi company changed hands and the new owners no longer offer transferrable annual passes. The new policy requires annual passes to be imprinted with the holder's name, and only that person is allowed to use the pass. Keywords: Townhouse
