This private chalet is situated near the lodge in the beautiful Massanutten Resort! Enjoy the updated ambiance, soaring vaulted ceilings, pool table, gas fireplaces and more. Planning a big getaway? This property sleeps up to 14 people. The main level includes a large living room with a gas fireplace, a full eat-in kitchen with a table for 6, and a dining room with seating for 6. On the lower level is a spacious rec room with a Foosball table, Xbox gaming system and another gas fireplace. Multiple decks with seating and tables allow you to relax, enjoy, and watch the wildlife. 5 bedrooms, 4 baths Bedroom 1: Main level, queen bed, ensuite bath Bedroom 2: Main level, king bed, ensuite bath, gas fireplace Bedroom 3: Lower level, 2 full beds Bedroom 4: Lower level, 2 twin beds and twin over futon bunk Bedroom 5: Lower level, king bed and roll away twin cot All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available. The driveway can fit 3-6 cars. Garage is not accessible to guests and is reserved for owner use only. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.** *This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids.
