Tucked away in a quiet lakeside community. Only 6.4 miles to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. Less then a 2 min drive through neighborhood to Morganton point recreational area where you can enjoy Lake access, public beach, boat ramp and the most beautiful sunsets. Great neighborhood for walking, biking, and easy paved road access. Always excellent wifi and cell service along with large working desk and comfortable chair make it great for working remotely. THE SPACE: Graced by surrounding mountains, our "Storybook cottage" is made of lovely log construction and exudes time honored charm. A dining nook adjoins an eclectic kitchen that while small, is stocked with everything a cook would want. Two guest bedrooms downstairs lead to an open deck, while a large "sleeping loft" holds 3 twin beds and extra bathroom. NEIGHBORHOOD: Our cabin is located in the lakeside community of Ridgeview Heights and is conveniently located to everything. Less then a two minute drive to MORGANTON POINT RECREATIONAL AREA you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets over Lake Blue Ridge. Morganton point also provides a PUBLIC BEACH where you can rent canoes, paddle boards, or just spend the day swimming. Take a peaceful leisurely stroll through the neighborhood.... soaking in the scenic Mountain views along gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge and checking out some of the most beautiful little homes by the lake. We are about 5 or so miles to an Ingles grocery store and Downtown Blue Ridge. For any last minute items that may be needed there is a Dollar General store available just out side our neighborhood. Easy All paved road access.
