The bedrooms are laid out as follows: 1) The master bedroom is the largest room with a queen bed and a luxury mattress, a dresser, rustic wall hooks and an outdoors patio. 2) The second bedroom on the main floor has a dresser and two twin beds with excellent mattresses arranged in an L-shape to enjoy killer mountain views. 3) The loft accessible via a spiral staircase has one twin bed, a dresser and an office set up with a desk and a chair looking over the field and the mountains. 4) The futons in the living room can also be used for comfortable sleeping. Each futon folds out into a firm double bed. Please note that the futon beds are somewhat shorter than regular beds. Please let us know if you would like bedding for the futon beds, we'll be happy to provide it upon request. The kitchen was just completely gut renovated. Brand-new butcherblock countertops, white ceramic farmhouse sink with amazing mountain views behind it, and a black faucet form the main working area. There is a fridge, a glass-top stove with a full-sized oven, a full-size dishwasher, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a washer-dryer. The washer dryer is the latest technology and does both in one unit, which is perfect because you can just load it in the morning, set to "wash + Dry" and the laundry will be ready whenever you get back (it typically takes ~ 3 hours). The kitchen also includes 8 sets of stylish white plates, cups and cutlery, as well as pots and pans, a baking sheet, mixing bowls, wine opener and even a turkey roasting pan! Yes, we have excellent WiFi! You will have access to the entire house. Enjoy tranquility and country in its purest form, We have assembled kids's and grown-ups' favorites like foosball and darts. but am available via chat and email. Or, leave your car at the house and call a local taxi service for a night on the town. It is best to drive, but if you need to take public transportation, then, from NYC, an Adirondack Trailways bus comes to Phoenicia (about $40 from NYC), then you can have a local taxi to pick you up. The options are Majestic Mountain, Smiley's, or Kingston Kabs. Please beware that the cab companies often charge upwards of $80 a ride, even if it's just 15 minutes. NEW: Ask us about maid service and farm fresh egg delivery, so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest! We follow a strict COVID protocol, using appropriate cleaning agents. Also, no one will enter the house for 72 hours prior to your arrival. Self-checkin with a lockbox ensures that you do not have to interact with anyone upon your arrival.
