Snorkel in the calm waters of Hana Bay or take the short hike to Red Sands. Just 2 miles from Hana town is Koki and Hamoa beach. A great place to watch the surfers or boogie board yourself. Just 10 miles from Hana is Ohe'o Gulch with the 7 Sacred Pools. Take an amazing hike through the bamboo forest to Waimoku falls. Keep going and visit Palapala Ho'omau Church, and the grave of Charles Lindbergh. Hana: Hana is like stepping back in time to what Hawaii was like 30 years ago before high rise condos and shopping centers. You can find all the gifts you would need such as Aloha shirts, homemade jellies and jewelry at the local stands or quaint shops.
