Cabin 2 is our largest, with handicapped access, and extra interior space . Sled right from your door to ITS in the winter, hike our trails, bird watch the waterfowl on the pond or spy an occasional eagle flying overhead. Day trip to Bar Harbor, Baxter State Park, Mt. Katahdin and the Appalachian Trail, or the Moosehead Lake Region. Boating, fishing, swimming nearby at Peaks Kenney State Park 14 miles away. International airport in Bangor. You can enjoy a barbecue picnic on your own charcoal grill and picnic table. Tools provided and all dinnerware as well. Dinner table in cabin seats 6 in case of rainy days. Plenty of space inside and more outside for lawn games or relaxing by the fire pit. Just bring yourselves and a change of clothes, everything provided here for your stay. Enjoy hiking our trails or just jog our 1.2 mile driveway for exercise or walking the dog. We have a suggestions for your visit sheet in the cabin for convenience, guidebooks and magazines. We are on a private, secluded 350 acre compound down a 1.2 mile driveway right off Rt. 6/16, also known locally as Milo Road. Our only neighbors are deer, hare, ducks and other wildlife. Located a mile off the main road, we are only 14 miles to Sebec Lake and beach area, Peaks Keney State park, and an hour's ride will bring you to Moosehead Lake area. A bit further and you can visit Baxter State park in Millinocket.
