Oaklawn Casino and Racing is open with some Covid regulations. Beth and Richard are members of the Jockey Club and, in most cases, can make our table available to guests when accommodations are needed. --------------------------------------------------- SoHo on Central is located right in the heart of historic downtown Hot Springs Arkansas on the top floor above Legacy Fine Art Gallery, one of the oldest art galleries in Hot Springs. The upper floor of this historic building has been completely renovated. What was once a dentist office many years ago is now a luxury apartment, while the outside remains true to its history, the inside is a completely new, beautifully furnished and decorated. The spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath loft unit can easily accommodate 9 people. Each bedroom is furnished with linens, pillows, and comforters. Also, if you don't want to sample the restaurants Hot Springs has to offer, the kitchen awaits your culinary efforts with gas range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, pots, pans, and dishes. This prime location allows our guests to walk almost everywhere they want to go. If you are in town for a convention, the convention center is literally less than a quarter mile away. If you are here to explore Hot Springs National Park, the trails are all around us and Bathhouse Row is just a few blocks away. If you intend to visit Hot Springs restaurants or bars, you are right in the middle of the entertainment district. The famous Arlington Hotel, renowned restaurants, breweries, clubs, art galleries, boutiques, and the Malco Theater, are also all within footsteps reach. Oaklawn Racing & Gaming, which is a horse racing track and casino, is a very short drive up the road (under 2 miles), as is boating and fishing options on Lake Hamilton. Other attractions such as Magic Springs Theme & Water Park, The Aligator Farm, and Mountain Tower are also within minutes drive from our location. Since Legacy Fine Art is right downstairs a private viewing may be arranged with advance notice where you may view the extensive art offering and enjoy a nice bottle of wine and cheese tray with your hosts, Richard and/or Beth Gipe.
